DBC is the creation of fashion designer and recording artist Justin Orenthal Goff (also known as Mister Goff).
Mister Goff learned to sew from his Grandmother, Virginia. Moving from Indiana to Los Angeles at age 17 with sixty dollars in his pocket, he began designing dresses and skirts while studying music, working with some of the world’s biggest dance producers.
Developing his skills as a couturier in Paris and New York, Mister Goff has since dressed celebrities like Patti Labelle, Anna Nicole Smith, Nancy Wilson, Ricki Lake and Steve Vai. He was featured as the face of two National Commercial campaigns, Miller Genuine Draft and Lenscrafters, and his music has racked up more than a million steams.
In 2016, Mister Goff partnered with Joseph Muzzin to form DBC. Joseph was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada earning a Bachelor of Economics from Queen’s University, and working as a professional accountant for PriceWaterhouse Coopers.
After teaming with Mister Goff and transcending into the world of fashion, the DBC Upcycle Collection was born when Mister Goff redesigned Joseph’s old office shirts and pants into one of a kind dresses and skirts.
